OUR STORY

Families are complicated in one way or another & mine was no exception.  My mother loved us 5 girls in her own way, but her reserved nature kept her seemingly out of reach.  She sought solace in her art, gardening, & cooking/baking, reading cookbooks like novels.

Food was the gateway to sharing time with Mama.  She taught me the worth of bringing ingredients together, never scrimping on quality, always choosing freshness , using your intuition, & presenting food artfully.

I cherish those moments with her & what I learned.  Wanting the same for our children, I continued the tradition of analysing, tweaking, & experimenting with recipes to find those very "keepers" that would earn their position in the heirloom recipe box.

The collection could not have happened without the help of my beloved family & friends, tasting & critiquing the delights that came out of our many globally-located ovens.
